Ein kurze 5-tägiger Urlaub im schönen Sizilien. Praktisch volle Tage waren nur drei, aber wir konnten viel sehen.

Erster Tag

Wir sind in Catania gelandet, wo wir ein Auto gemietet haben. Achtung, mieten Sie nur kleine Autos! Auf welchen Straßen hat unsere Navigation geführt...

Prima zi

Am aterizat in Catania de unde am inchiriat o masina. Atentie inchiriati numai masini mici! Pe ce stradute ne-a dus navigarea...

A short 5-day holiday in beautiful Sicily. Practically full days were only three, but we could see a lot.

First day

We landed in Catania, where we rented a car. Attention, rent only small cars! On which roads has our navigation led ...

Catania

In Catania haben wir nur kurz den Zentrum besichtigt. Hat uns einen nette Eindruck hinterlassen. Curios, als wir das Auto gemietet haben, obwohl es total versichert war, hat uns mitgeteilt, dass die Versicherung in Catania nicht gültig ist und auf einem bewachten öffentlichen Parkplatz zu parken empfohlen. So haben wir auch gemacht :)

In Catania am vazut doar centrul si e dragut. Curios a fost cand am inchiriat Masina, desi era total asigurata, ne-au atras atentia ca asigurarea nu e valabila in Catania si sa parcam intr-o parcare publica pazita. Asa am facut :)

In Catania we only briefly visited the center. Has left a nice impression. Curios, when we rented the car, although it was totally insured, told us that the insurance in Catania is not valid and recommended to park in a guarded public parking. That's how we did it :)

Von Catania fuhren wir nach Corleone, wo wir gebucht haben. (ca. 3 Stunden) Die Insel hat eine herrliche Natur. Hügel, Berge, Felsen und Meer und zu meiner Überraschung im September sehr grün!

Din Catania am pornit spre Corleone unde aveam cazarea. (ca. 3 ore) Insula are un relief incantator. Dealuri,munti, stanci si mare si spre surprinderea mea in septembrie foarte verde!

From Catania we drove to Corleone, where we booked. (about 3 hours) The island has a beautiful nature. Hills, mountains, rocks and sea and to my surprise in September very green!

Wir haben neben Corleone in "Il Bevaio di Corleone" http://www.ilbevaiodicorleone.it/ mitten in der Natur übernachten. In Holzbungalows mit viel Glas, hatten wir das Gefühl, dass wir ständig draußen in der Natur sind. Sehr nette, ruhige Lage, wundervolle Leute und ein ausgezeichnetes Abendessen. Ich kann dieses Anwesen wärmstens empfehlen.

Ne-am cazat langa Corleone la "Il Bevaio di Corleone" http://www.ilbevaiodicorleone.it/ in mijlocul naturii, in bungalouri de lemn cu multa sticla, aveai senzatia si din interior ca esti in natura. Foarte frumos, liniste, oameni minunati si o mancare seara excelenta. Va recomand cu multa placere aceata locatie.

We have stay next to Corleone in "Il Bevaio di Corleone" http://www.ilbevaiodicorleone.it/ in the middle of nature. In wooden bungalows with lots of glass, we had the feeling that we are constantly out in nature. Very nice, quiet location, wonderful people and an excellent dinner. I highly recommend this property.

Der zweite Tag

Corleone ist eine typisch sizilianische Stadt. Weil mein Mann eine Leidenschaft für das Buch "der Pate" hat, besuchten wir die zentrale Bar im Corleone. Es gibt auch ein Anti-Mafia-Museum, aber es war geschlossen und niemand hat auf dem angezeigten Telefonnummer beantwortet. Schade!

Corleone este un orasel tipic sicilian. Sotul meu fiind un pasionat al cartii "Nasul" am vizitat barul central. Exista si un muzeu anti Mafia, dar era inchis si la telefonul afisat nu s-a prezentet nimeni. Pacat!

The second day

Corleone is a typical Sicilian town. Because my husband has a passion for the book "The Godfather", we visited the central bar in Corleone. There is also an anti-mafia museum, but it was closed and nobody answered on the displayed phone number. Pity!

Der Autoverkehr in Sizilien war für uns etwas chaotisch, wir haben nicht wirklich verstanden, wer Priorität hatte. Aber nach zwei Tagen wurde mein Mann ein echter Sizilianer beim Fahren. :)

Traficul in Sicilia pentru noi a fost cam haotic, nu prea intelegeam noi cine are prioritate. Dar dupa doua zile sotul meu a devenit un adevarat sicilian in a le condusului. :)

The traffic in Sicily was a bit chaotic for us, we did not really understand who had priority. But after two days, my husband became a true Sicilian while driving. :)

Palermo ist eine sehr schöne Stadt. Wir besuchten den alten Teil der Stadt mit der blauen Buslinie.

Palermo este un oras foarte frumos. Am vizitat partea veche a orasului cu linia albastra a autobusului turistic.

Palermo is a very beautiful city. We visited the old part of the city with the blue bus line.

Der Hop On Hop Off  Bus scheint mir die beste Lösung in jeder Stadt zu sein, wenn man nicht in einer organisierten Gruppe ist.

The Hop On Hop Off  Bus seems to me to be the best solution in any city if you are not in an organized Group.

In unmittelbarer Nähe von Palermo liegt Monreale, ein kleines Dorf mit einer sehr schönen Kirche und einem herrlichen Panorama. Hier habe ich kleine Törtchen mit Früchten gegessen. Sehr, sehr lecker!

In imediata apropiere de Palermo se afla Monreale, o localitate mica cu o biserica foarte frumoasa si o panorama superba. Aici am mancat niste tortulete mici cu fructe foarte, foarte bune.

In the immediate vicinity of Palermo lies Monreale, a small village with a very beautiful church and a magnificent panorama. Here I ate small tartlets with fruit. Very, very delicious!

Die letzte Ort war Cefalu´. Ungefähr eine Stunde und ein Viertel von Palermo entfernt, es sei denn, der Navi nicht auf Cefalus Berg  hinführt... ein echtes Abenteuer auf sehr engen und Serpentinenstraßen ... aber wir hatten eine sehr schöne Panoramaaufsicht und viel Zeit verloren :)

Ultima oprire a fost Cefalu´. Cam o ora si un sfert din Palermo, daca nu te duce navigarea pe muntele Cefalu´...o adevarata aventura pe drumuri foarte inguste si cu serpentine...dar am avut o panorama foarte frumoasa de sus :)

The last place was Cefalu'. About an hour and a quarter away from Palermo, unless the sat nav does not lead to Cefalus Mountain ... a real adventure on very narrow and serpentine roads ... but we had a very nice panoramic view and lost a lot of time :)

Unbedingt, wenn Sie in der Gegend sind, Cefalu´ zu besichtigen! Es ist sehr schön und hat einen wunderbare Sandstrand!

Definitely, if you are in the area, visit Cefalu'! It is very nice and has a wonderful sandy beach!

Hier habe ich zum ersten Mal "Arancini" gekostet, Reisknödel gefüllt mit allerlei Fleisch, Gemüse oder Käse. Mir läuft das Wasser im Mund zusammen, wenn ich nur daran denke!

Aici am gustat prima data "Arancini", niste galuste de orez umplute cu tot felul carne, legume, branza. I-mi lasa gura apa cand ma gandesc la ele!

Here I tasted for the first time "Arancini", rice dumplings filled with all kinds of meat, vegetables or cheese. My mouth is watering, just thinking about it!

Wir besuchten Savoca, das Dorf, in dem "der Pate" gefilmt wurde. Es hat sich gelohnt. Coppola wusste, was er tat ...

We visited Savoca, the village where "the Godfather" was filmed. It was worth it. Coppola knew what he was doing ...

Taormina ist eine schöne Stadt, es ist einen Besuch wert, aber meiner Meinung nach zu voll mit Touristen.

Taormina este un oras frumos, merita vizitat dar dupa parerea mea prea aglomerat cu turisti.

Taormina is a beautiful city, worth a visit, but in my opinion too crowded with tourists.

Der vierte Tag

Castellammare del Golfo, im Osten der Insel gelegen, ist wunderschön, mit seinem schönen Strand und nicht mit Menschen überlaufen. Eine herrliche Aussicht, 27 Grad draußen, Sonne, 24 Grad Meerwasser ... Ich wollte nicht mehr weggehen ...

The fourth day

Castellammare del Golfo, located in the east of the island, is beautiful, with its wonderful beach and not crowded with people. A beautiful view, 27 degrees outside, sun, 24 degrees sea water ... I did not want to leave ...

Die Gegend ist sehr vielfältig und die Felsen und das Meer verschmelzen grandios miteinander. San Vito lo Capo hat wunderschöne Strände, aber es ist sehr voll (es war auch Samstag, deswegen vielleicht). Touristen waren jedoch nur Italiener hier.

Zona este ca natura foarte diversa iar stancile si marea se imbina grandios. San Vito lo Capo are plaje frumoase dar este extrem de aglomerat!(a fost si sambata, poate de aia). Oricum turistii erau aici numai italieni.

The area is very diverse and the rocks with the sea combine grandiose each other. San Vito lo Capo has beautiful beaches, but it is very crowded (it was also Saturday, so maybe). Tourists were only Italians here.

Auf dem Weg nach Trapani ist eine mittelalterliche Stadt auf den Hügel hinauf, Eurice. Unbedingt besichtigen! Aber nehmen Sie einen Pullover mit, auch wenn die Sonne draußen ist.

In drumul spre Trapani se afla un oras medieval sus pe un deal, Eurice. Neaparat de vizitat, dar luat si un pulover chiar daca afara e soare.

On the way to Trapani is a medieval town up the hill, Eurice. Absolutely visit! But take a sweater with you, even when the sun is out.

Am fünften Tag flogen wir nach Hause.

Selbst wenn es ein kurzer Urlaub war, war es das wert. Wir werden sicherlich nach Sizilien zurückkehren.

On the fifth day we flew home.

Even if it was a short vacation, it was worth it. We will certainly return to Sicily.
